STRENGTH AGAINST TEMPTATION
PRAISE THE LORD,
PRAISE THE LORD, IN JESUS NAME,
PRAISE THE LORD, “IF THOU FAINT IN THE DAY OF ADVERSITY, THY STRENGTH IS SMALL.” Prov 24: 10
PRAISE THE LORD, We pray for Thy strength to persistently pray and be in Thy WORDS and Scriptures everyday. So our spiritual strength is increased and enlarged in the day of adversity. And we are fearless and unaffected in the day of adversity.
PRAISE THE LORD, FOR JAMES WORDS “BLESSED IS THE MAN THAT ENDURETH TEMPTATION: FOR WHEN HE IS TRIED, HE SHALL RECEIVE THE CROWN OF LIFE, WHICH THE LORD HATH PROMISED TO THEM THAT LOVE HIM.
LET NO MAN SAY WHEN HE IS TEMPTED, I AM TEMPTED OF GOD: FOR GOD CANNOT BE TEMPTED WITH EVIL, NEITHER TEMPTED HE ANY MAN:
BUT EVERY MAN IS TEMPTED, WHEN HE IS DRAWN AWAY OF HIS OWN LUST, AND ENTICED.
THEN WHEN LUST HATH CONCEIVED, IT BRINGETH FORTH SIN: AND SIN, WHEN IT IS FINISHED, BRINGETH FORTH DEATH.
DO NOT ERR, MY BELOVED BRETHREN.” James 1: 12 - 16
PRAISE THE LORD, THE LORD JESUS instructed HIS DISCIPLES to pray against sin and temptation. THE LORD JESUS said to LUKE to pray THE “LORD’S PRAYER” against temptation. PRAISE THE LORD, for Thy light shining on us, showing us the path to walk against temptation and sin.
LORD, we pray for Thy GOD strength in us against temptation and sin; sin of desire, sin of lust, sin of any types that take us away from Thee LORD.
LORD, we pray for Thy grace and infinite mercies when we repent. Thou forgives us, Thou shows us the path, and leads us away from sin.
PRAISE THE LORD, we are sinners. We repent. We ask for Thy strength, forgiveness, and lead us from temptation and sin.
PRAISE THE LORD, THOU TEMPTS NO ONE.
PRAISE THE LORD, FOR PAUL’S WORDS “NOW THESE THINGS WERE OUR EXAMPLES, TO THE INTENT WE SHOULD NOT LUST AFTER EVIL THINGS, AS THEY ALSO LUSTED.
NEITHER BE YE IDOLATERS, AS WERE SOME OF THEM; AS IT IS WRITTEN, THE PEOPLE SAT DOWN TO EAT AND DRINK, AND ROSE UP TO PLAY.
NEITHER LET US COMMIT FORNICATION, AS SOME OF THEM COMMITTED, AND FELL IN ONE DAY THREE AND TWENTY THOUSAND.
NEITHER LET US TEMPT CHRIST, AS SOME OF THEM ALSO TEMPTED, AND WERE DESTROYED OF SERPENTS.
NEITHER MURMUR YE, AS SOME OF THEM ALSO MURMURED, AND WERE DESTROYED BY THE DESTROYERS.
NOW ALL THESE THINGS HAPPENED UNTO THEM FOR ENSAMPLES: AND THEY ARE WRITTEN FOR OUR ADMONITION, UPON WHOM THE ENDS OF THE WORLD ARE COME.
WHEREFORE LET HIM THAT THINKETH HE STANDETH TAKE HEED LEST HE FALL.
THERE HATH NO TEMPTATION TAKEN YOU BUT SUCH AS IS COMMON TO MAN: BUT GOD IS FAITHFUL, WHO WILL NOT SUFFER YOU TO BE TEMPTED ABOVE THAT YOU ARE ABLE; BUT WILL WITH THE TEMPTATION ALSO MAKE A WAY TO ESCAPE, THAT YE MAY BE ABLE TO BEAR IT.
WHEREFORE, MY DEARLY BELOVED, FLEE FROM IDOLATRY.
I SPEAK AS TO WISE MEN, JUDGE YE WHAT I SAY.” 1 Cor 10: 6 - 15
PRAISE THE LORD, We praise Thee for guidance and examples from the people of Israel. We praise Thee for protecting us from murmurer, idolatry, fornication. We praise Thee for Thy HOLY SPIRIT in us to manage temptation to be bearable and bring us to the escape route when temptation occurs. Thou is faithful, never change, and never forsake us. For the end of the world is near.
PRAISE THE LORD, FOR JOHN’S WORDS “YE ARE OF GOD, LITTLE CHILDREN, AND HAVE OVERCOME THEM: BECAUSE GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD.
THEY ARE OF THE WORLD, THEREFORE SPEAK THEY OF THE WORLD, AND THE WORLD HEARETH THEM.
WE ARE OF GOD: HE THAT KNOWETH GOD HEARETH US, HE THAT IS NOT OF GOD HEARETH NOT US. HEREBY KNOW WE THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, AND SPIRIT OF ERROR.
NO MAN HATH SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME, IF WE LOVE ONE ANOTHER, GOD DWELLETH IN US, AND HIS LOVE IS PERFECTED IN US.
HEREBY KNOW WE THAT WE DWELL IN HIM, AND HE IN US, BECAUSE HE HATH GIVEN US OF HIS SPIRIT.” 1 John 4: 4, 5, 6, 12, 13
“FOR WHATSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD OVERCOMETH THE WORLD: AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, EVEN OUR FAITH.
HE THAT HATH THE SON HATH LIFE; AND HE THAT HATH NOT THE SON OF GOD HATH NOT LIFE.” 1 John 5: 4, 12
PRAISE THE LORD, We are born of GOD. We have GOD in us. THE GOD in us is greater than the prince of the world. We take heed to Paul’s words. We are strong in THE LORD and in the POWER of HIS MIGHT. We overcome the world.
We put on the whole armour of GOD, having loins girt with truth, wearing breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS, our feet protected with GOSPEL of PEACE, shield of FAITH, helmet of SALVATION, and the SWORD of the SPIRIT (WORDS of GOD).
We praise Thy strength in us so we persistently pray with supplication in SPIRIT and perseverance at all times. We praise Thee for Thy strength and protection from temptation and sin. We praise Thee for Thy grace and mercies when we repent.
We praise Thee. We praise Thee. We praise Thee.
